This image is from the cover of the album I’m listening to now- a recording of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem. It is such a beautiful recording, done by the choir at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh. The sound of the organ mixed with the orchestra is full and ominous; I can imagine that hearing it live might have made you tremble.
