This is the table of contents from the Summer 2009 issue of GOOD, The Water Issue. I’ve been collecting examples of good design for an internal project we’re working on at Newfangled, and thought that this particular detail was really nicely done. Each section has a ‘stack’ that indicates the relative length of it (shorter stack for less pages, longer stack form more) that is topped with a small, enticing image.
GOOD’s design team is excellent. Each issue is well though through and beautifully designed and layed out. Creative Director Casey Caplowe stands out among magazine creatives.
